Available Scholarships
The University of Houston College of Education offers numerous scholarships. Most are for current undergraduate and graduate students, with some available for incoming freshmen, incoming graduate students and transfer students. Some of the scholarships are focused on specific areas such as teacher education, health, school leadership, school psychology and counseling. Certain scholarships have GPA requirements.
The College’s Scholarship Committee will determine who is eligible for each scholarship based on the specific criteria. Students only have to submit one application. However, students still should review the criteria for individual scholarships to help when writing the required one-page narrative.
- To Apply: Read the application instructions and complete the online application. The application is currently closed. The application will open Jan. 22, 2024 and will close Feb. 29, 2024.
