Eligibility Criteria
- The student must be in good standing enrolled in a doctoral program in the Department of Psychological, Health, and Learning Sciences at the University of Houston, who is pursuing dissertation research in the area of Interpersonal Process Recall and/or the Kagan Affective Sensitivity Scale or in the area of bereavement.
- Scholarship applicant is required to submit a five page abstract detailing the nature of dissertation research.
- Applications are accepted throughout the year. Only one scholarship will be granted per academic year.
- The purpose of the scholarship program is to provide financial resource in support of student candidacy research projects or dissertations addressing issues on bereavement, use of the Affective Sensitivity Scale, and/or the use or address of Interpersonal Recall (IPR) as a method of scientific inquiry and/or training methodology.
Awards for this scholarship will be determined by the College of Education Scholarship Committee.
