Course Description: Instructor-led training -This course covers the requirements outlined by local, state, and federal regulations for Dangerous Goods and/or Infectious Substance Shipping and Transporting. This course will also provide information on Hazardous Materials Regulations, specimen shipping classification, packaging materials and content and required shipping documents.

Who should take it: Personnel involved with shipping or transporting of infectious substances and/or biological substances.

Prerequisites: EH06

Estimated Course Duration: 30 minutes or more, based on materials being shipped

Frequency: Every two years
