EH06: General Laboratory Safety Orientation

Course Description: Instructor-led training that covers basic laboratory safety practices and University of Houston laboratory policies. 

Who should take it:  Required for all personnel that will work in a laboratory environment and with any potential exposure to biological, chemical or radiation hazards.  The course covers the basic PPE requirements and operating procedures that are expected in University laboratories.  All Visiting Researchers and Interns at UH laboratories must complete this course before starting work in the laboratory.
