Tiffani Sealock, M.D.
Tiffani Sealock, M.D., is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine. She serves as the family medicine clerkship director. In this role, she collaborates with clerkship and longitudinal integrated clerkship (LIC) directors to develop, implement, and evaluate the Family Medicine component of the LIC. Her responsibilities include delivering didactics, recruiting and supporting clinical preceptors, conducting site evaluations, and overseeing student assessment and remediation to ensure a high-quality clinical learning experience.
She brings over 15 years of experience in community-based family medicine and medical education. Prior to joining the Fertitta College of Medicine, she served as a faculty physician with the Houston Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program, practicing at Vecino Health Center, a federally qualified health center. There, she supervised residents, maintained a continuity clinic, and taught medical students through lectures and clinical instruction. Her practice included full-spectrum family medicine with a focus on underserved populations.
Sealock earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science with Foundation Honors from Texas A&M University and her medical degree from McGovern Medical School. She completed her residency in family medicine at Houston Methodist Hospital. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and continues to contribute to clinical service as a volunteer physician at Casa El Buen Samaritano. Her professional interests include quality improvement, chronic disease management, and mentorship in medical education.
