Katrina Hughes, M.D.
Katrina Hughes, M.D., is adjunct faculty in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine. She is a pediatric radiologist and medical educator with expertise in pediatric imaging, diagnostic radiology and interdisciplinary patient care. In addition to her faculty role, she works at a variety of medical institutions where she is active in the care of pediatric patients. She is passionate about the education of medical students, residents and fellows.
Her clinical experience includes primary care and hospital-based services. Her research interests include pediatric and fetal imaging. She is committed to advancing medical education and improving the care of children and families.
Hughes earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Emory University and received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. She completed residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics, as well as diagnostic radiology. She also completed fellowship training in pediatric radiology.
