Welcome to Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine

I am excited to share our mission: We are committed to educating a diverse group of students who will become compassionate, competent physicians, ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow’s health care.

Every part of our curriculum has been designed to ensure that our students gain a deep understanding of their patients’ needs, how their communities, families, culture, and experiences impact their heath, and the skills to advocate for their patients, now, and in the future. I am thrilled to be a part of Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine in this journey to create a different kind of medical school for Houston and for Texas. We are committed to recruiting a diverse student body and having an inclusive educational environment.

We are now accepting applications! We invite you to learn more about our curriculum and our approach to training today’s doctors to meet tomorrow’s challenges.

Regards,
Michelle A. Carroll Turpin, Ph.D.
