Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine

The Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine’s vision to transform population health and health care starts at home, with our neighbors in Houston’s East End and Third Ward. We have established Community Working Groups, comprised of community-based organizations, healthcare and social service providers, churches and other community members, that meet monthly for sharing, learning and aligning our activities with a more collective approach to community health and wellbeing. Our partners help us learn what issues and projects are important to their community and how the Fertitta Family College of Medicine can support their work.
