A collaboration between BASE Lab and the UH Department of Psychology, this project explores the intersection of thermodynamics and human behavior to support better design decisions for semi-outdoor spaces. Merging environmental and cognitive psychology with architectural thinking, it offers new insights and justification tools for designers navigating the challenges — and opportunities — of these transitional environments in a warming world.
