REIMAGINING OUR CURRENT DEGREE PLAN

During the 2023-2024 academic year, the Hines College is launching a revamped Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design (BSED) degree program, aimed at enhancing the student experience academically, professionally, and financially. The updated program is open to new students entering during the 2024-2025 academic year and current first and second-year students currently enrolled in any of the College’s degree programs.

With its unique form and vitality, Houston is an exceptional laboratory for exploring the problems and potentials of contemporary society.

The College offers a range of facilities, including an array of traditional and advanced digital fabrication equipment in the award-winning Burdette Keeland, Jr. Design Exploration Lab and the future Construction Robotics and Digital Fabrication Technology (CRAFT) Lab. A comprehensive in-house Architecture and Art Library, extensive Materials Research Collaborative (MRC), and computing resources are available to all students at the College.
