A parametric workflow to environmentally optimize the shading design of outdoor educational spaces using multi-objective evolutionary algorithms. Part of the investigation is optimizing geometric modeling, environmental parameter benchmarking, evolutionary solver parameters definition, solution analysis, and the solution selection process.
