DOMEafterDOME is a research-driven vertical architecture studio that investigates the adaptive reuse of large-scale civic infrastructure through the lens of climate resilience, circular construction, and public life. Using Houston's Astrodome as a living laboratory, students develop innovative design proposals informed by environmental simulations, material reuse strategies, and socio-spatial analysis. The studio bridges research, teaching, and public engagement, advancing new approaches to regenerative urban transformation while contributing to broader conversations on the future of aging megastructures.
