Make or Donate Masks for Social Workers
Social workers are often overlooked members of those on the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic. They provide essential services for children and families who are especially vulnerable to both the health effects and social consequences of the virus.
There is a critical and growing need to protect both social workers providing face to face services and the clients they serve.
We Want to Help.
By leveraging our networks, we can identify and distribute masks to front line social workers at Houston area agencies that serve victims of domestic violence, child welfare, and the homeless. Our goal is to host a mask drive that focuses on social workers and their clients who are particularly vulnerable and facing even more challenges during the pandemic.
We Need Your Help.
Here are three ways you can join us in this important effort. Are you able to:
- Sew masks at home to donate? (We’ll provide instructions!)
- Have a business or know of one that has extra masks to donate?
- Use your social networks to help us find others to sew or donate masks?

Please help us spread the word by sharing this webpage or the Make or Donate Masks for Social Workers Facebook event.
On behalf of social workers and those they serve, thank you!
