PI WorkCenter
The PI WorkCenter is a web-based application that pulls information from PeopleSoft Grants, PeopleSoft Finance, and HR PASS to allow principal investigators access to important information necessary to manage their awards.
PIs with a faculty title/assignment can access the PI Work Center via AccessUH.
Using the Cost Center Manager Dashboard
The dashboard provides a list of both departmental and project award cost centers managed by the Principal Investigator (PI). Financial information displayed is sourced directly from the PeopleSoft General Ledger and reflects transactions posted as of the current date.
Managing Functions
Functions have been created to assist with processing and tracking of award actions. They are either initiated by OCG or the campus. All functions require a proposal or award ID. PIs must submit and approve functions in the PI WorkCenter in My Inbox.
Submitting Transmittals
Located on the top left of the portal, the Create Transmittal option allows PIs to create, approve, view, and route transmittals to the appropriate University officials for the necessary approvals to submit a proposal.
