CCS 2350: Perspectives on Cultural Studies
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: ENGL 1304. CCS gateway course examines culture across disciplinary perspectives. Team lecturers present the what/how/why of what they do in studying the cultural dimension of life, historically, regionally, thematically, globally.

CCS 2394: Selected Topics in Comparative Cultural Studies
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: ENGL 1304. Can be repeated for credit if topic is different.

CCS 2398: Independent Study in Comparative Cultural Studies
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: ENGL 1304 and approval of instructor. Can be repeated for credit if topic is different.

CCS 3350: Brazilian Cultures and Their Histories
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: ENGL 1304. Peoples and cultures that created Brazil. Brazilian politics, economics, and visual cultures may also be the focus. Course can be repeated for credit when topics vary.

CCS 3351: African Religious Practices in the Americas
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: ENGL 1304.Focuses on African cultural influences in the Americas past and present, especially through the study of religion.

CCS 3393: Comparative Approaches to Indigenous Cultures in the Americas
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: ENGL 1304.Topics covered include indigenous languages and literatures of the Americas, visual cultures, and/or political and social movements. Course can be repeated for credit when topics vary.

CCS 3394: Selected Topics in Comparative Cultural Studies
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: junior standing or consent of instructor. Course can be repeated for credit when topics vary.

CCS 3398: Independent Study in Comparative Cultural Studies
