The University of Houston (UH) is the largest and only Ph.D.-granting university in the UH System, which includes UH-Clear Lake, UH-Downtown, UH-Victoria and campuses in Pearland and Northwest Houston as well as the UH Sugar Land and UH System at Cinco Ranch teaching centers. The UH System is governed by a 10-member Board of Regents.
