Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation Piper Professor | 2022 | The Piper Professor award is awarded by the Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation which is a non-profit, charitable corporation focused on postsecondary education in Texas. Ten Piper Professors from across Texas are selected each year for their superior teaching at the colleges level. The Piper Professor Award recognizes professors for outstanding academic, scientific, and scholarly achievement and for each professor's dedication to the teaching profession. |

At UH, open educational resources have been estimated to save students over $900,000 during academic years 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 – just two years since the start of ATIP. |
