Components are dynamic, customizable content elements that add functionality and interactivity to your pages.
Like Snippets, Components can be configured on a page-by-page basis, giving editors flexibility while maintaining a consistent design across the university’s websites. These Components are built and maintained by the Web Team. Some are available to all editors (such as event feeds), while others may be custom-built upon request for specific departmental needs.
Be sure to read the Getting Started page to see where to find the Component option in the MC Editor. (Hint – it’s next to the arrowed and puzzle piece icon next to the “< >” button.)
