A.D. Bruce Religion Center
The A.D. Bruce Religion Center is the focal point for many on-campus religious and spiritual activities. It is a bustling center of many ongoing educational programs and activities focusing on religious issues with an emphasis on Interfaith Dialogue. The A.D. Bruce Religion Center offers a place for both quiet meditation and spiritual growth.

African American Studies
African American Studies is a distinct academic discipline that engages Africa-centered research and teaching through an interdisciplinary approach to scholarly inquiry.

Asian-American Studies Center
The AASC is an interdisciplinary academic center dedicated to the study of Asian/Asian Americans in the United States and abroad. Its mission is to generate knowledge, increase awareness, and foster rich opportunities for learning about the Asian/Asian American experience.

Center for ADVANCING UH Faculty Success
The goal of the NSF ADVANCE program is to increase the number and success of women faculty in the science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and behavioral sciences fields.

Center for Student Empowerment
CSE represents a dynamic mix of abilities, academic preparation, social, ethnic, national origin, regional, age, and gender diversity.

Children’s Learning Centers
The mission of the Children’s Learning Centers (CLC) is to provide a nationally accredited exemplary early childhood program that supports the student, staff, and faculty of the University of Houston (UH) while at the same time, encourages UH student success by offering opportunities for learning, discovery, and engagement.

CoogsCARE
CoogsCare is a resource hub for students seeking emergency assistance, i.e., food or housing insecurity, transportation difficulties, and academic struggles.

Council for Cultural Activities
The Council for Cultural Activities is a university-sponsored organization that promotes cultural awareness, diversity, and inclusion at the University of Houston by supporting cultural and diversity-related registered student organizations and events on campus.

Counseling and Psychological Services
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) has a mission to provide psychological, educational, and social support services to the university community, which helps students to be more successful in their academic, personal, and social pursuits. CAPS offers individual, couples, and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, preventative and developmental outreach programming and services, consultation, training, and supervision.

Hispanic Studies
The Department of Hispanic Studies offers programs for Spanish Language Requirement, Undergraduate, and Graduate Studies. It also seeks to foster understanding and communication through the study of Spanish languages, literature, linguistics, and cultures in the age of globalization, to provide education and training for students seeking careers drawing on or enhanced by such study, and to develop established and new programs contributing to local, regional, national and international knowledge.

International Student and Scholar Services Office
International Student and Scholar Services Office (ISSSO) provides services for non-immigrants with University of Houston affiliations.

Justin Dart, Jr. Student Accessibility Center
The Justin Dart, Jr. Student Accessibility Center office provides accommodations and support services to University of Houston students who have temporary or permanent health impairments, physical limitations, psychiatric disorders, and/or learning disabilities.

Language and Culture Center
Since 1975, the LCC has provided intensive English instruction for international students who want to study at universities in the United States or improve their English language skills to meet personal and professional goals.

Latin American Studies Information
UH's Latin American Studies Minor and Program (LAST) in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences is designed to encourage study and teaching relating to this very important geographic and cultural area.

Metropolitan Volunteer Program
The mission of the University of Houston Metropolitan Volunteer Program is to create and provide service opportunities for students by collaborating with campus and community partners. Through this, we aim to develop responsible citizens with a lifelong commitment to service while creating sustainable change in our campus and community.

Psychological Research Service Center
The Psychological Research Service Center is a full-service outpatient psychology clinic that operates within UH's clinical psychology doctoral program. They offer mental health services on a sliding scale.

Religious Studies
The Religious Studies Program offers courses that foster the understanding of world religions and their influence on human behavior and world affairs.

Sexual Violence Prevention Education
A list of resources for getting help, staying educated, and reporting procedures around the topic of sexual violence and its prevention. Whether you or someone you know is dealing with any kind of sexual misconduct issue, members of the UH community are here to help.

Student Advocacy and Support Services
A service that helps students with various academic and non-academic concerns such as residency status, registration, fee payment, housing, financial aid, grades, parking, and other university-related issues.

UH Veteran Services
The University of Houston is an approved training facility for veterans and a Military Friendly institution. Depending on your specific need, two campus offices provide services to veterans.

Women and Gender Resource Center
To advocate, educate, and provide support services for the advancement of gender equity on campus, with an emphasis on student safety, health, and success.

Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies
The UH Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies (WGSS) Program draws upon the dynamic energy of the global city of Houston, to challenge students to understand how categories of gender, sexuality, race, class, dis/ability, and citizenship shape not only their own lives but also the lives of people in their communities and around the world.
