Sponsored Research
Identifying how export control regulations may impact a research proposal can be key to avoiding delays in funding and administration of projects. A cooperative effort between the Principal Investigators, Export Control Office, Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG) and College Research Liaison Officers (RLO) is essential to streamline export control review.
Each party is integral to conducting a thorough review of research beginning at the proposal stage through the lifecycle of the project (funding and contract provisions) to determine whether and how a particular research project is affected by export control regulations and information security requirements.
