The Arts & Technology Center (ATC) at the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts is a hub for innovation, collaboration, and creativity.

Established in 2018, the ATC offers cutting-edge resources and an interdisciplinary workspace where students, faculty, and staff can experiment, take artistic risks, and bring their creative visions to life.

Open to all departments within the college, the ATC empowers students to expand their artistic practice by providing hands-on access to state-of-the-art technology, including tools for virtual exhibition, curatorial applications, and printmaking in the expanded field. Whether you're exploring new mediums or refining your craft, the ATC supports your journey by fostering confidence, independence, and technological fluency.

The Arts & Technology Center (ATC) provides students with state-of-the-art tools and resources to enhance their artistic and technological skills. 

From advanced printing and fabrication equipment to a well-equipped computer lab and checkout options for media equipment, the ATC empowers creativity and innovation. Whether you're working on prototypes, professional-grade prints, or multimedia projects, the ATC has everything you need to bring your ideas to life.

  • Sharp Printer and Copier: A high-speed laser printer for vibrant color printing, scanning, and copying.
  • Intec Color Splash: Prints on extra-thick cardstock and offers white ink capabilities for high-quality results.
  • Epson Large Format Inkjets: Four wide-format plotters produce stunning prints on matte, transparency, luster, or gloss paper, up to 44 inches wide.
  • RISO Duplicator: A two-color digital duplicator with spot color printing. Available ink drums include HD Black, Bright Red, Blue, Green, Light Lime, Indigo, and White.

  • 3D Printing: Turn digital models into physical objects for prototypes, mockups, or scaled designs.
  • Laser Cutter: Precision cutting and etching on materials like wood, paper, plastic, fabric, and more.

Located in Room 4, this checkout room allows eligible Photo/Digital Media students, faculty, staff, and graduate students to borrow photo, video, lighting, and sound equipment for personal use.

  • Desktop Cutters: Cricut machines for paper, vinyl, fabric, and specialty materials like fondant.
  • Vinyl Cutter: A 24" Graphtec vinyl cutter for stickers, stencils, and other projects.
  • Book Binding: Perfect and twin wire ring binding for quick, professional results.
  • Cutting Tools: Includes paper cutters, a stack cutter, matboard cutter with straight and bevel options, and tools for cutting plexiglass and 8-ply materials.
