Our full-service teaching hotel is at the heart of the College. As part of the Hilton brand, it provides students with hands-on training in hotel operations, guest services, housekeeping, sales, events, and more. Eric’s Restaurant
Located inside the Hilton University of Houston, Eric’s is more than a restaurant—it’s a learning laboratory. Students gain experience in both front- and back-of-house operations, from culinary prep and table service to management and guest relations. It’s the perfect setting to practice teamwork, customer service, and leadership.

 
Cougar Grounds Coffeehouse
This student-run café is a Hilton College favorite and a true point of pride. At Cougar Grounds, students roast beans, craft espresso drinks, and manage day-to-day café operations. The experience offers a strong foundation in beverage management, entrepreneurship, and customer service—all while serving the UH community.
