Treatment of Pregnant Patients

The Student Health Center does not provide obstetrical or prenatal services for pregnant students. If the student is found to be pregnant through testing, or if the patient identifies herself as pregnant, she will be referred to an obstetrician for specialized obstetrical and prenatal care.

Pregnant students are welcome to use the Student Health Center for medical issues not related to their pregnancy when appropriate. An examining physician or nurse practitioner will assess whether the student's condition can be treated at the Student Health Center. If not, they'll refer the student to their obstetrician for specialized care, ensuring that the student receives the most suitable treatment for their needs.

Pregnant students may request Immunizations or Tuberculosis Skin Testing at the Student Health Center by providing a written order from their obstetrician.
