The Student Health Center IS NOT an Urgent Care Center or Emergency Room. We are not equipped to see patients for the initial evaluation and treatment of pain/injuries due to a Motor Vehicle Accident.

Definition of a Motor Vehicle Accident: When a vehicle hits a person, object, or vehicle, causing injury or damage.

If it is determined that a patient has scheduled an appointment for pain or an injury due to a Motor Vehicle Accident without previous evaluation and treatment, the appointment will be canceled, and the patient will be referred to an Urgent Care Center or Emergency Department.

After the initial evaluation and treatment from another healthcare facility have been completed, a follow-up appointment may be scheduled at the Student Health Center. The patient must provide a copy of the medical records for the initial evaluation of and treatment at another healthcare facility prior to scheduling a follow-up appointment at the Student Health Center.
