Faculty & Staff Breakfast 2019

Please join me at the upcoming breakfast, catered by Le Peep, to honor our colleagues who have reached service milestones, earned promotions or tenure, or received College awards for teaching, research and staff excellence.

Please see the list of honorees below and let’s celebrate them next month!

Date: Aug. 16, 2019
Time: 9 a.m.
Place: Rockwell Pavilion (second floor of M.D. Anderson Library)
RSVP: Please accept or decline the Outlook calendar invite and select “send the response now.” If you do not have calendar access, RSVP to kpatnaude@uh.edu.

After the breakfast, we’ll head to Cullen Performance Hall for First Lecture, featuring Nic Stone, a New York Times bestselling author who earned accolades for her debut novel, “Dear Martin.” Doors open at 10:30 a.m. The event begins at 11 a.m.

Also, as we gear up for students to return, please consider bringing non-perishable food items or monetary donations to support our PEEPS Pantry for students in need (make checks payable to “The University of Houston” and in the memo write “PEEPS Pantry”). Donations will be accepted throughout the week of August 12 in the Office of Undergraduate Studies, Farish Hall 160, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., or in the lobby of Cullen Performance Hall before First Lecture.

Onward,
Bob
