Cap & Gown Donations

Want to help a Coog cross the stage with confidence? The Center for Student Advocacy and Community in partnership with the Office of Protocol and Special Events, has a Graduation Cap & Gown Donation Program to support future graduates. This initiative allows students to give back by donating their regalia, helping ensure that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of celebrating this important milestone.

Why it matters: Graduation should be accessible to everyone. By donating your cap and gown, you’re directly supporting fellow students, future graduates and contributing to a more equitable campus community.

Program details:

  • What to donate: Graduation caps and gowns in good condition; or you can make a monetary donation towards the purchase of caps and gowns for future grads (see link below).
  • Who can donate: Anyone with a UH graduation cap and/or gown
  • Where to donate: Donation bins located near the Fertitta Center graduation entrance or at the Center for Student Advocacy and Community located in the Student Center North, RM. N201.
  • Impact: Donated items will be made available to future graduates at no cost

Don't want to part with your regalia? You can donate to our office so we can purchase regalia for future coogs.
