Hanover Research, UH’s Strategic Research Partner

DOR Launches Partnership to Support Faculty Proposal Development

By Tim Holt

Hanover Research, a nationally recognized research strategy consulting firm, will help the Division of Research strengthen faculty support for proposal development and strategic research planning at the University of Houston.

As competition for external funding increases, the partnership expands the University’s capacity to assist faculty in pursuing new opportunities. The firm brings extensive experience in proposal development, sponsor analysis and research team facilitation.

“Hanover offers our researchers expert guidance at critical stages of proposal development and program building,” said Claudia Neuhauser, Vice President for Research.

Support and Services

Researchers have access to a range of services from Hanover covering four primary areas: proposal review, proposal revision, prospecting and consult calls.

Interested faculty may contact VP Neuhauser to be added to the University’s project queue. Based on the proposal, funding target and deadline, VP Neuhauser will work with the colleges to determine the best fit with available services. Hanover will reach out to selected individuals for an initial phone call.
