Micro-credential in the Digital Humanities
The Digital Humanities Core offers micro-credentialing programs along three tracks. Faculty, librarians, and doctoral students may apply directly through the DHC, and instructors may engage the DHC to embed programming within their graduate and undergraduate courses.

Foundations in Digital Humanities Project Development Certificate
- Faculty, librarians, researchers and doctoral student track
- Foundations in DH Project Development (Badge I)
- Intermediate DH Project Development (Badge II)
- Advanced DH Project Development (Badge III)
- Graduate and Undergraduate tracks
- Digital plan development (1 badge)
- Digital project development (1 badge)
Format
- Instruction is delivered via HPE Data Science Institute's enterprise Moodle system
- Globalized content with individual consultations
- Time commitment:
- Faculty researchers and doctoral student track:
- 1-2 week summer workshop intensive (Badge I)
- 2-day winter workshop (Badge II)
- Graduate and Undergraduate tracks:
- Two 4-week units, first 8 weeks of the semester
- 60-minute record lectures plus 15-minute individual consultations
- Testing modules (undergraduate track only)

DHC micro-credential programming is offered free of charge for the UH community.
