CPR/AED Training on Campus

Faculty and Staff

UH Campus Safety - Occupational Health Services is proud to offer American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR/AED Training to all interested employees. CPR is an emergency lifesaving procedure performed when the heart stops beating. Immediate CPR can double or triple the chances of survival after a cardiac arrest. The CPR/AED training course is instructor-led and will be held in a classroom setting. The highly interactive course is offered at no cost to all UH employees.

The duration of this course is approximately 4-hours and requires an in-person skills session to demonstrate participants' ability to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac emergencies. Upon successful completion of the course, an American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR/AED certification will be awarded and is valid for two years. For more information, please contact ohs@central.uh.edu.

To enroll, please visit the course enrollment page, then select AHA Heart Saver - CPR Training. Note: UH VPN required when accessing from non-secure UH Network.
