Training Information
The UH Fire Marshal's Office offers numerous training classes for students, staff, faculty, and other public safety professionals. The following general courses are offered:
- General fire safety training
- Fire extinguisher training
We are committed to having a safe and fire free campus. If there is a specific safety class you would like, please send us a request using the form below, or contact us.
The UHFMO is also a designated Texas Commision on Fire Protection training facility. We offer the following TCFP Certification courses and skills examination:
- Fire Inspector
- Fire Investigator
- Fire Instructor I
- Fire Instructor II
- Fire Instructor III
- Plans Examiner
