Dr. Gallagher is looking forward to considering applications for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Prospective Research Assistants

Undergraduate or post-baccalaureate research assistants will gain research experience in addition to a greater understanding of career opportunities available in the field of clinical psychology. The HART lab seeks research assistants who are conscientious, goal-oriented and have an interest in pursuing a graduate career in psychology.

Research assistants are expected to commit to volunteering for at least two semesters, with a weekly time commitment of up to 910 hours per week. It is preferred that applicants have completed the following courses: Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods, and a basic statistics course. Research tasks and responsibilities are based on the skill level of each research assistant. Opportunities to complete an honors thesis may be available for research assistants that work in the lab for more than a year.
