The Hines College’s Industrial Design program and the UH Student Industrial Designers Society of America (SIDSA) host various studio exhibitions and annual events throughout the year. The events showcase student work, provide development and networking opportunities as students prepare for their professional careers, and welcome accomplished industrial designers in the field.

Studio Exhibitions
When ID studios partner with industry sponsors, students interact with companies throughout the design process and present their work publicly during a studio exhibition. Past sponsored studios have focused on healthcare design, automotive design, transportation design, and more.

IDesign Conference
Each December, the UH SIDSA organization hosts a conference at the Hines College featuring high-caliber industry speakers (including Hines College alumni), portfolio reviews, and networking opportunities.

Annual Spring Exhibition + Senior and Graduates Show
At the conclusion of the spring semester, the ID program hosts an annual show featuring the final work of graduating seniors and the top work of students across all levels of the program. The event is usually organized around a particular theme.
