PharmCAS Application

The University of Houston College of Pharmacy participates in the Pharmacy College Application Service (PharmCAS), a centralized application service that offers the convenience of one general application for multiple doctor of pharmacy degree programs.

The 2015 PharmCAS application will become available on July 14, 2014.

The UH College of Pharmacy participates in Early Decision through PharmCAS. Applicants wishing to apply for Early Decision will be notified of their admission decision no later than October 24, 2014.

In order to apply online for the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) Program for Fall 2015, go to www.pharmcas.org.

The PharmCAS Application Early Decision DEADLINE is September 2, 2014.

The PharmCAS Application Regular Decision DEADLINE is December 1, 2014.

Early Decision

In addition to completing the PharmCAS application, you must arrange for PharmCAS to receive all of your official transcripts and fee by September 2, 2014.

If your application, transcripts, or fee arrive after the deadline, PharmCAS will automatically change your file from early decision status to regular status.

You may be offered early admission, denied admission, or deferred to regular applicant status. If you are offered admission as an Early Decision applicant, you are obligated to accept the offer and you will not be permitted to apply to other PharmCAS institutions. If, however, you are denied admission as an Early Decision applicant, you may apply to other PharmCAS institutions for an additional fee. Refer to the PharmCAS application fee schedule to determine the cost to apply to each additional program. PharmCAS institutions will make admission decisions on early decision applicants by October 24, 2014.

For Early Decision applications only, we will accept the September 3rd - 5th PCAT test if the Preliminary PCAT Score Report is submitted by email (uhcopapply@uh.edu) or fax (713-743-1237) to UHCOP within 48 hours of the test date.

If you would like the opportunity to receive an offer of admission in October, and if you have taken the PCAT or plan to take the PCAT in early September, we encourage you to apply as an Early Decision applicant.

Offers of acceptance to Early Decision applicants taking the September 3rd - 5th PCAT will be made with the understanding that the offers are dependent upon submission of official results of the September PCAT.
