General Directions to UH Main Campus

From Hobby Airport

From the airport, follow the exit signs to I-45. Go north on I-45. Exit Cullen. Turn left (south) on Cullen. Go two blocks - the Science and Research 2 building is on the left (across from the Hofheinz Pavilion), between the Science and Engineering Classroom (SEC) and the University of Houston Science Center (HSC).

From George Bush Intercontinental Airport:

From the airport, follow the exit signs to I-45 South. Stay on I-45 South around the downtown area. Exit Cullen and go right (south). Go two blocks - the Science and Research 2 building is on the left (across from the Hofheinz Pavilion).

Visitors may park in parking Lot 15G or Lot 16F, as space permits.  All visitors not using on- or off-street metered parking, a gated visitor lot or hourly rate parking garages must obtain and display a Temporary Parking Permit (see instructions below).

General Directions to UHCOP Texas Medical Center Campus

From Hobby Airport

From the airport, follow the exit signs to I-45. Go north on I-45 to U.S. 59. Take U.S. 59 south to Highway 288. Exit N. MacGregor. Turn right onto North MacGregor. Go 1/2 mile to Moursund. The facility is on the corner of North MacGregor and Moursund.

From George Bush Intercontinental Airport:

From the airport, follow the exit signs to I-45 South. Stay on I-45 South around the downtown area. Take U.S. 59 south to Highway 288. Exit North MacGregor. Turn right onto North MacGregor. Go 1/2 mile to Moursund. The facility is on the corner of North MacGregor and Moursund.

Parking for TMC Campus visitors is available across the street in Garage 10 or off Moursund in Garage 6. Daily parking fees will apply.

Main Campus Parking

Temporary Parking Permits

Visitors must obtain and display a temporary parking permit when using campus parking areas other than parking meters, gated visitor lots, or parking garages. These permits are available at the Visitor Information booths located at Entrance 1 (Calhoun and University Drive) and in Lot 15G (in front of Athletic/Alumni Center), or at the PTS Customer Service counter in Room 112 of the UH Welcome Center Garage. 

UH Departments receive a 50% discount when purchasing temporary parking permits via a Service Center Requisition.

Parking Meters

Parking meters are located throughout campus: on-street meters have a maximum stay of 1 hour and off-street meters have a 2-hour maximum stay. Time restrictions and hours of operation are also posted on the individual meters. Visitors anticipating a longer stay should purchase a visitor pass at the Information booths at Entrance 1 or Parking Lot 15G (Alumni Center), or park in a gated visitor's lot. Parking permits are not a substitute for paying to park at a meter.

Gated Visitor Lots

Limited gated visitor parking is available in Lot 16F located off UH Entrance 16 and Lot 15G (Athletic/Alumni Center). 

Parking Garage

Visitor parking is available on an hourly basis on the first two levels of the UH parking garages operated by PTS. The parking garage nearest to the College of Pharmacy building (Science & Research 2) is the Stadium Parking Garage. Departments may purchase validation coupons that can be used to pay part or all of their guests parking. These coupons are valid only in PTS-operated parking garages. Validation Coupons must be purchased in advance.
