Major: Biomedical Engineering

Sam (she/her) is currently a Program & Marketing Assistant for the Women & Gender Resource Center since November 2023. She is an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She spends her free time designing rocketry parts, knitting, 3-D printing, and STEM-based projects. She enjoys talking about women's empowerment, especially in the STEM world. In addition, she likes to hike, play soccer, cook, and even learn more about her culture. Sam has been highlighted as an Inspiring Latina Engineer for SHPE and for UH College of Engineering. She enjoys working with WGRC because of the mission statement and the amazing work environment.
