- Who: all MATH Students (undergraduate and graduate), MATH Faculty and MATH Staff are invited and GIS student members
- Food and snacks? Yes
- What: discussions about...
- (1) How to prepare for internships in the profession & resume evaluation.
- (2) What's involved in the life/day of an Actuary, and what can a "typical project" look like?
- (3) How to prepare for exams (timeline, workload, effort, realistic timelines, etc.)
- (2nd Event - On-campus) Meet and Greet Social Event: "Game/Card Night" - {Add to your calendar}
- When: 4:45—6:45PM
- Where: 648 PGH conference room
- What: Card games (spade, bid whist, etc), board games, clowning, etc!
- Food and snacks? Yes.
- Who: all MATH Students (undergraduate and graduate), MATH Faculty and MATH Staff are invited and GIS student members
- (3rd Event - Off-campus) IABA/UH Ambassador Social/Networking event @Velocity Sim Lounge - {Add to your calendar}
- When: 7:30—10:30PM
- Where: Velocity Sim Lounge: 2110 Edwards St., 77007
- What: Racing, competition, and networking: https://velocitysimlounge.com/
- Who: All MATH Students (undergraduate and graduate), MATH Faculty and Staff, GIS student members, Actuary partners/speakers, and the IABA Houston Chapter are invited.
- Food and snacks? Can be purchased individually
