• Been in the program for two or more years (by the end of Summer 2023)
• Should be on the Ph.D. track (working towards your dissertation under the supervision of a CS faculty member)
• Do NOT plan to graduate with a Ph.D. in Spring 2023
• A past recipient of the Best Junior Ph.D. award is eligible to apply for the Best PhD Student Award

Application Requirements

• Submit an email to Professor Deng (zdeng4@uh.edu) with an updated CV that includes at least your GPA and publications.
• A support letter has to be sent separately by the dissertation chair/advisor to zdeng4@uh.edu.
