Member, ICS Video Project: The grant-funded project is to support research for development of a software program that automatically indexes streaming video lectures.

Comprehensive Student Success Program: Serve with fellow instructors that teach introductory biology courses in the Comprehensive Student Success Program. That program is the core of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute grant previously awarded to the University. The aim is to provide active learning strategies and other mechanisms to enhance student performance and retention of information.
