Emotional Intelligence for Supervisors

When you think of a great leader, several things probably come to mind. One of these is Emotional Intelligence (EI). Defined as the ability to understand and manage your own emotions and interactions with other people. Emotional intelligence in leadership is comprised of empathy, social skills, self-awareness, self-regulation and motivation. Leaders with high EI can create positive and productive work environments. They can instigate growth, innovation, and creativity in an organization and its team members.
