Assessment and Planning

The Division of Student Affairs is dedicated to ensuring that the programs and services we provide for students at the University of Houston assist in their success. To this end, assessment and planning for the division aims to comprehend how our various areas contribute to student learning and achievement. Our commitment also emphasizes transparency and purposefulness in activities designed to assist with departmental assessment planning, annual reporting, and strategic planning.

This site is intended to provide support to all division members regarding assessment and planning. The Director of Assessment and Planning and the assessment committee provide support to each department with developing, coordinating, maintaining, and reporting high-quality assessments. The assessment committee consists of volunteer members who assist with assessment activities within their respective departments as well as the overall division. The committee members provide guidance on assessment projects, training to colleagues, and act as the primary connection between their departments and the Assessment Committee. The strategic plan guides the division to strive for the best in ourselves, our community, and the students we serve.
