Professor Scott Imberman awarded postdoctoral fellowship by the National Academy of Education

Scott Imberman has been named a 2010 National Academy of Education/ Spencer Foundation
Postdoctoral Fellow. The non-residential fellowship is awarded to no more than twenty
young scholars each year working in critical areas of education research and funds
proposed research expected to "make significant scholarly contributions to the field
of education." The fellowship provides $55,000 for teaching leave, salary replacement,
and research support. In addition, the fellowship is recognized by the Association
of American Universities as a factor in defining Tier One status for universities.
