COMPASS Training covers:

  • Common reactions to trauma and how individuals commonly cope
  • Why individuals might feel afraid to report
  • The UHS Sexual Misconduct Policy and Title IX
  • SB212 and Required Reporting
  • When and how to Report
  • How to compassionately respond to disclosures of sexual misconduct
  • Campus resources to refer to, including Sexual Misconduct Support Services
  • Community and national resources

Upon successful completion of the training, participants become COMPASS Navigators and receive a special placard to place on their office doors or work areas.
