Limited Submission
Limited submissions are opportunities for which the sponsor has limited the number of applications an institution may submit. In response to such an announcement, the university will post its own announcement that includes an internal due date for submission of pre-proposal documentation, which is used for the internal selection process.
The chart below outlines the steps, the responsible office or person, and the timing associated with this process.

Exceptions
- A Researcher who has been selected for three (3) consecutive rounds for the same limited submission program will not be considered for a fourth round unless OCG receives fewer nominations than the number of submissions allowed.
- If a candidate decides not to submit, he/she must inform OCG as soon as possible to allow another candidate the opportunity to apply.
- If the internal due date has passed and the application slots remain, the first eligible applicant(s) to submit all of the pre-proposal documentation to OCG will be awarded the application slot(s).
- When the opportunity is for a large, complex proposal, OCG will coordinate the application development and submission.
