  • This orientation provides you with information concerning credential building (pre-requisites, shadowing/volunteering, etc.) to help you become a well-rounded applicant for medical and dental school.

Interviewing for the Health Professions Workshop

  • This workshop will cover the types of interviews you may encounter at the various health professional programs (e.g., medical school, dental school, etc.) as well as preparation tips and best practices.

Introductory Allied-Health Orientation

  • This orientation provides you with information concerning credential building (pre-requisites, shadowing/volunteering, etc.) to help you become a well-rounded applicant for PA, PT, and OT school.

Introductory Nursing Orientation

Dr. Ralph Cooley, Associate Dean for Admissions will host a virtual Q&A session to provide information about DMD program at UT School of Dentistry at Houston. He will also address the characteristics that define a strong dental school applicant.

Dr. Catherine Dayton, Director of UH COM Admissions, will present information about the UH College of Medicine mission, admissions requirements, and curriculum. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about preparing a competitive application and what makes an ideal candidate.

All students are invited—but junior/senior pre-Med students are especially encouraged to join!
