The following procedures are outlined in case of a major weather/environmental, pandemic, or Canvas outage emergency. The Provost's office will communicate with the faculty, staff, and students about which steps to follow. Please review and direct any questions to fdis@uh.edu.

If you need to move your course online you can use Canvas to distribute course materials and Microsoft Teams to host online meetings.
Go Online with Microsoft Teams in Case of Canvas Outage
The University has created processes to assist faculty in the event of a prolonged Canvas outage.
- UH has a secure login where faculty can obtain copies of grades and files for each
of their Canvas courses, and copies of videos they have hosted on Studio.
