Student Body Committee

The Student Body Committee represents the student body at the University of Houston in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EAS). The main purpose of the committee is to relay information to and from the EAS faculty members and the EAS student body. The committee is also responsible for presenting student concerns to the faculty at the monthly faculty meeting. In addition, the Student Body Committee organizes the annual EAS Student Research Day. If you are interested in volunteering to help with this event please send us an email at easgradcommittee@gmail.com. The name and picture of key organizers will be included on the Research Day web page and in the meeting program.

If you are an EAS student and have concerns, questions, or suggestions, please contact a committee member in person or email us at easgradcommittee@gmail.com. If you would like to remain anonymous, please submit your concern through this form. Also, give us any suggestions you may have on how to address your concern. Consider leaving your contact information in case we have questions or need clarification. The committee will look over your concern and suggestion, as soon as possible, and some issues will be brought up at the monthly faculty meeting.

Student Submission Form

We will take all concerns into consideration, however not every student concern will be addressed at a faculty meeting. Nonetheless, we will do our best to make sure each concern is resolved. If your request is not addressed at a faculty meeting and you have given us your contact information, we will try our best to get back to you regarding its resolution.
