Dr. Yun earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science, as well as a B.S. in Physics and Chemistry, from the University of Houston. He is a pioneer in computer game development education, designing innovative coursework that has led UH student teams to top placements—including two national championships—at the Microsoft Imagine Cup (2010–2015). Beyond gaming, he co-developed UH’s Entrepreneurship for Computer Scientists course (2014) and spearheaded the Immersive Technology and Spatial Computing course (2021), equipping students with skills in XR and interactive application development.
