ON-CAMPUS EXPERIENCES
If you're a high school student interested in UH, we invite you to register for a campus tour. These programs offer an overview of admission, academic programs and life on campus — often from the valuable perspective of current students.
We have admissions counselors available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to meet with you if you have questions following your tour experience. If you have more specific concerns or questions, you are welcome to contact the freshmen admissions team at admissions@uh.edu.

Visit Opportunities:
Prospective Freshman Visit (2-hour experience) | 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. (except for Tuesdays)
Admitted Student Visit (2-hour experience) | 11 a.m. on Monday and Friday
Academic College Tour & Information Session (2-hour experience) | 9 a.m. on select Mondays and Fridays
Honors College Overview & Tour | Fridays at 11 a.m.
Saturday Tours | Select Saturdays at 10 a.m.
Spanish Tours | Available upon request
If you have attended an accredited college or university and have earned 15 or more transferable hours of college credit after high school graduation, excluding dual enrollment work or credit hours accumulated as a concurrently enrolled high school student, we invite you to register for a campus tour.
Transfer students are welcome to visit UH any time.

The Office of Admissions provides group tours to groups of students in 9th - 12th grade and prospective transfer students. We can provide in-person tours to groups of up to 100 people, including chaperones. Group tour dates fill quickly, and if your group does not meet these criteria, please email us at vc@uh.edu.

In addition to our daily visits, the Office of Admissions will host a number of events both on and off campus throughout the year.
Cougar Preview
Cougar Preview is our grand on-campus experience for students to get to know their future home! This event provides an introduction to UH from the admissions team, an academic information session by the college of your interest, an overview of scholarships and financial aid and current students excited to share their experiences!

Destination UH - Admitted Student Event
Destination UH is our premier admitted student experience for students to get to know their future home! This event provides next steps in the enrollment process to UH from the admissions team, a browsing fair featuring various campus partners, an overview of scholarships and financial aid and current students excited to share their experiences!
Official Coog Day - Admitted Student Event
Official Coog Day is our admitted student celebration event! This event is the opportunity for new Coogs to meet their fellow incoming classmates, get acclimated to their future home and learn more about the next steps in their to transition to UH.

Group virtual visits are just as interactive as on-campus visit experiences and can be customized to your group! Typically, group virtual visits last one hour and include the following activities led by UH admissions staff and Student Ambassadors:
- 20-minute admissions presentation that includes a brief overview of the University, academic opportunities, campus life and the admissions process
- 20-minute virtual guided student life tour covering campus hot spots, including a sneak peek into Cougar Village II, our most popular freshmen residence hall
- 10-minute question and answer session
