Are you an employer looking to connect and engage with computer science students? We are happy to work with you to determine the best strategy to meet your needs. Below are a few examples.
Each fall and spring semester we host a computer science majors-only career fair that attracts over 400 computer science students and recent graduates. Visit the Computer Science Career Fair page for details.
Advertise Job Opportunities
You can post employment opportunities online through HireNSM. This job portal enables employers to post job openings for part-time, full-time and internship positions. Students can view the job postings and apply through the portal or through a link you specify.
In addition to posting on HireNSM, the Department of Computer Science can also advertise your openings directly in our weekly email newletters. Contact Matthew Pariyothorn at email@example.com for information.
Promote your organization, collect resumes of potential interview candidates and build your brand on campus. Contact Matthew Pariyothorn at firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
Connect with our academic student organizations to host a meeting, social, hackathon, workshop, or other activity.
We offer a senior capstone in Software Development Practices as well as Data Science. The aim of the course is to bridge the gap between the classroom and industry by having students to use their knowledge and skills to tackle the challenges of an industry-based project. Companies interested in sponsoring a project should contact Matthew Pariyothorn at email@example.com.
Multiple opportunities exist for your company to make charitable gifts towards student scholarships, program support, student travel for competitions, or where they are needed most. Companies can also establish a deeper relationship by joining the Friends of Computer Science program. The Friends program allows corporate members to have greater access to students and faculty, as well as increased visibility within the department and university. Visit the CS Giving page for details.
