Dependent Care

Tex-Flex Flexible Spending Accounts let you pay for planned out-of-pocket dependent care costs tax-free.

If you pay for day care for a child under age 13 or for a qualifying adult individual, you can save hundreds of dollars on your taxes with the FSA for Dependent Care.

The minimum contribution to a Dependent Care FSA is $180 per year and the maximum is $2,500. If you and your spouse both have dependent care accounts, you can contribute up to $5,000 between the two of you. You can only spend what has been taken from your paycheck.
